Cygwin support & 1.1.2

What's the latest information on compiling libnet under cygwin/mingw?
Currently both 1.1.2rc06 and 1.1.1 fail completely. Using WinPcap
3.1beta w/ Developer Pack and gcc 3.3.1 under cygwin. Removing
-fnative-struct makes configure run cleanly, but make fails right at the
start. Looking through the archive a patch set for cygwin was offered a
couple of days ago, but the link in that post doesn't seem to work. Any
insights?
