Re: Plugin download problem

Based on an earlier email you sent, I deleted all the plugins from
/usr/local/lib/nessus/plugins

When I read Jack's email on the nessus list about Nessus being more accurate
than the MS tool, I decided to try it.  Since I thought my earlier problems
might be Inprotect, I decided not to use it this time.

# nessus-update-plugins
# /usr/local/bin/nessus

I logged into the client and it told me that unsafe plugins had been
disabled.  I went to the plugins tab and went to filter.  I told it to
filter by ID number and put in 11835.  When I clicked ok, it showed Remote
File Access under plugin selection and WebSite 1.0 buffer overflow in the
lower window.

I knew that wasn't what I wanted because I had done a plugin search on
Nessus.org to find the 11835.  So I looked up Website 1.0 and found 10008 on
the website.

If I go into the plugins directory and look at the source for the WebSite
1.0 plugin, it says it's ID is 10008.

I am still sitting at the Plugins tab after I filtered.  I just left it
there.
