smsniff.exe – Entry Point Not Found

The procedure entry point PacketSetMonitorMode could not be located in the dynamic link library C:\Windows\System32\Npcap\wpcap.dll

I did not install Npcap in Wpcap compatibility mode. I installed Npcap Ver 0.97, Wpcap Ver 4.1.3.

Smartsniff seems to work in spite of error.

Smartsniff version 2.26. Windows 10 x64.  WinPcap Packet Capture Driver capture method.

Ques: Why do I get this error?
