I agree that diversity is indeed an advantage, in this case.

I'd like to add two points:

1. The new format (version 3.0) encodes text in UTF-8.

2. The 'corelib' directory in the pwsafe project contains all the crypto,
format and file i/o functionality, and is supposed to be relatively easy to
port to non-Windows platforms. In other words, for other C++
implementations, this should be a good starting point for what Levente had
in mind.
