Hi Lee, AFAIK there is only 1 possibility to open a database in PasswordSafe: you have to know the password! There is NO other chance! (Would be not so good for security reasons). Normally I know my database password. My solution is to keep database passwords in another database, and the password of this database is put on paper (don't forget were you put it!). Afterwards I ZIP this database, and rename it. Put it -to be sure- on a CD (to overcome computers, after some time). Kind regards Karel Van der Gucht Von: Lee Hamel [mailto:[email protected]] Gesendet: Donnerstag, 27. I forgot my Password Safe 3.18 combination, but remember the last 2 parts of the word/number/word format I used. Is there a way to recover my password? I've found a link on Bruce Schneier's web site to an app, but the web site doesn't exist any more. The program is PasswordSafeCracker.zip.
