When I had to recover a system for a client, I net booted it into
NetBSD from my laptop using a crossover cable. This was much easier
then setting up a JumpStart server and you can use something other then
a Sun for a host if you don't have a convenient Sun. Of course, you
could probably use your favourite open source OS if it has support for
Sparc 10s.
