Hello, our environment is: gentoo linux 2.6.11-gentoo-r9, samba-3.0.22-r3, clamav-0.88.4, vscan-clamav.so from samba-vscan-0.3.6b. Samba is using clamd through the socket. Not using libclamav. Scan on-open and on-close are both activated. "send warning message = yes" in vscan-clamav.conf. We have a couple of problems: 1)When a virus is detected no warning message arrives to the windows client. We have all windows xp clients. Windows messenger service is running and to send messages between a couple of windows clients is ok. 2)When a virus is detected, access to the file is denied (you get an "access denied" message to your windows client). We do not understand if it is possible to modify that behaviour. Every help is greatly appreciated. /Lorenzo Corradini. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Take Surveys. Earn Cash.
