hum, last time I've checked it worked with Win XP SP2 (en). After you
enabled "send warning message" did you re-load Samba (or disconnect all
clients to this share and re-connect) to re-load the samba-vscan
configuration? Any firewall which could cause issues?

Which behaviour? Access being blocked to an infected file? No, that
can not be changed (well, of course, you could modify the sources). Or
the wording of the notification message? This can only changed with a
modification of the source code and a re-compile, sorry.
