I have now got it to work, but only by running sophie as root insteasd of mail (changed in sophie.cfg) which I am not keen to do. Anyone any idea where the problem lies? Robin ----- Original Message ----- From: rbn To: [email protected] Sent: Monday, February 23, 2004 6:16 PM Subject: [vtools] problem with sophie 3.04rc2 I have just upgraded my CommuniGate server to use Sophie 3.04rc2, but allthough sophie compiles and installs OK and I can test it successfully with the sample sock.pl script and also with cgpav running manually eg ./cgpav 1 FILE vir/eicar.com which is recongnised, when I run the CommuniGate helper setup for cgpav it doesn't recognise any viruses. In /var/log/maillog I get errors such as sophie[29337] : Warning: :Error: File could not be accessed I've checked that the group ownership is mail where appropriate (for Submitted and Queue directories and sophie says it is running as user mail. Anyone any ideas what is causing this, or what to try from here? It was running OK with sophie 3.03 but now doesn't work with that either when I tried to go back to this version.
