I never use HUP. I always kill the process and restart it. This happens our of nowhere. I must admit that the last fix to address this problem did reduce the number of times this happens. I now see this on my server about once per week at most whereas before it was every day or so. --- Ed Henderson, Managing Partner Certainty Tech http://www.certainty.net/ > -----Original Message----- > From: [email protected] > [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Vanja Hrustic > Sent: Thursday, March 18, 2004 12:54 PM > To: Discussion about Virge/Sophie/Trophie/... > Cc: [email protected] > Subject: Re: [vtools] Sophie Hanging > > > On Thu, 18 Mar 2004 12:44:02 -0500 > "CertaintyTech-Ed" <[email protected]> wrote: > > > I also see this happen on occasion and is accompanied with a missing > > sophie socket file.
