  Hiya gang,

I got this email earlier today, and thought this would be one good place to
let others see it and we can all help out 'security' in general. Here's the
email:

Hello John,

As you are aware of already there is a internet and wireless security
project called CAcert. CAcert Inc. is now a non-profit association
which uses X.509 standards based technology including SSL and TLS.
CAcert has and will always issue free client and server certificates.
During the 12 months that I've been involved with this project I've
seen it expand rapidly and the demand for free secure trusted
certification service is at an all time high, and growing. CAcert was
extended to cover the signing of GPG/PGP keys recently, and a request
for enhancement has been posted to the Bugzilla bug tracking page in
the hope we can get the root certificate incorporated into the Mozilla
browser.

The RFE can be found here:
<http://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=215243>

We are requesting your help with this, as we need as many people to
show their support as possible to help make this a reality. Once
you've voted for this RFE, please tell all your friends, family and
anyone else possible, this is something where one person really can
make a difference. Of course the more people signing up to and using
CAcert will help with this as well.

Normally I wouldn't do a post out to all subscribers, but this is
some what important and a lot of people keep asking for us to put in
these kinds of requests.

Best Regards
CAcert Inc.
