Dear Michael / GSWoT list,

I have been reading and re-reading the GSWoT pages at:
http://home.cogeco.ca/~mdaigle/trust/gswot/
for a few days now, and have to say I feel a little lost.

I've been using PGP/GPG for a few years now, and have been a Thawte
notary for a couple of years. I think I have my head around issues of
trust, and what key signing means (and doesn't mean), but still feel
a bit vague about the GSWoT.

I just feel a bit more structure to the pages would help, perhaps
using more headings along the lines of "What is the purpose of the
GSWoT?", "Why should I join as a notary/introducer?". This would
hopefully also hook readers by suggesting answers to the main
question of "Why should I care about this project?"

Also, the Fireside introducer bit explains very clearly the mechanics
of what's involved, but I still feel a little hazy about the logic
and reasoning behind it. From discussions on this list, things are a
little clearer, but not the web page.

Like navigating the infamous Thawte site, I just worry a little that
some folk might give up trying to make sense of the GSWoT pages,
which would be a shame. I'm happy to try and draft/redraft things if
it'd help.

Just my two pence - once the coffee takes effect, things may seem
different ;)
