I am too The first thing to test is if the port is open between client and server. From the client, in a DOS box (asuming you are on a PC) Telnet ServerHostName PortYouAreTunnelingThrough If the port is blocked, it will say something like Connect Failed. If it is open, you will get garbage characters echoed back at you.
