Hello,

It seems that ZeBeDee worked in my tests, but I still have the problem that ZeBeDee stops. Does this happen with long periods of innactivity? Example: I used ZeBeDee during the day, but the next day when I checked it ZeBeDee was stopped. Nothing written in the his log. I can't understand why.

The only way I could make ZeBeDee write something in the log is by messing up the configuration file and ZeBeDee wrote: "zebedee(31708/16384): ERROR: can't parse boolean value 'truetarget' zebedee(31708/16384): ERROR: invalid line in config file '/usr/lib/zebedee/test.zbd' at line 3".

Cristi.

Me too and all works fine.
Is your Firebird works fine? Can you connect to your Firebird server from
source network?

OK

see if you have such lines (or similar, fit it for your need) in your config files:

FOR CLIENT:

server false
target localhost
redirect gds_db
serverhost your.server.ip_address.here
serverport 3051
tunnel 3051:*3050

FOR SERVER:

server true
target localhost
redirect gds_db
serverport 3051

Than check if port 3051 is opened for connection for both server and
client - check your proxy config.

Run zebedee on both server and client:
zebedee -f zbdconfig.file.name

Try connect to Firebird SQL server from client using such database connect
string:
localhost/3051:/PATH_TO_YOUR_DATABASE/you_database_file_name

See /var/log/secure. Are some connections to gds_db service there?
