It's very good in the format it's in right now.  Last stable version, or 
even the last beta is working like it should for most applications.

I'm using it in a production environment and has never ever been cause 
for problems.

If you want a similar project, try OpenSSL - it's about the same thing, 
TCP/UDP over encrypted tunnels.

I too wonder if Neil is still out there ...
