I don't remember, I do a lot of tunneling of SMB traffic and then I 
can't use localhost so it was a long time since... it's possible that 
you must apply that patch I was talking about anyway for any loopback 
connection.

It should be absolutely no problem doing this. If you telnet to the 
local port, does Zebedee get a connection? No firewalls activated?
