My guess (provided the Battlefield 1942 Remote Manager is actually running
:-) is that it doesn't listen on the localhost address but only on the
public IP address. Run "netstat -an" and look under the "Local Address"
column. If it doesn't show "0.0.0.0:14667" or "127.0.0.1:14667" then it
isn't listening on 127.0.0.1.

Look what address it is listening on and use that instead of localhost in
the target line.
