Initial Comment:
A friend of mine complained that trackbacks never work with my site. Today i investigated further. It seems that permalinks are the cause for this troubles. When trying to set a trackback from one s9y installation to another i found the following information in the iframe with the feeback information:

"Trackback gescheitert: Die automatisch erkannte Trackback-URI gleicht nicht der angegebenen URI."

It seems that trackbacks won't work because the permalink is not used when announcing the trackback url.
