I have been trying to look at this purely from an integration point of view as that is how I am - in the main - working with it. That is, what things work without me having to know to much on how to get it working and even then know where to find and edit specific files.

I say that as when I plan to integrate with some other service providers, many of them won't want to do much more than just install the software and configure a few settings.

With that hat on, i'd say yes, a console app would be a nice add-on, perhaps with integration with the installer at some point.

I have to say that, despite some security settings (which i think were due to my playing around with IIS some time ago), everything went as you described in your install docs.
