Problem: Sign-out not showing images

After logging out of the sample application I do not see any of the 
checkmark images.  This is a newly unpacked application without any 
modifications.  This is on Red Hat Enterprise running Tomcat 5.0.18 and 
Tomcat 4.1.29.  Does anyone know why I might not be getting these?
