Looks like someone from macports has already fixed it: =

Now ${sudo port install dap} succeeds.

I didn't realize dap was unmaintained (that would be a good thing to =
mention on the website).  I found dap looking for SAS alternatives that =
will run on my mac, because I'm expected to use SAS for a statistics =
course I'm taking and I don't have any windows machines anymore.  If I =
am able to use dap for this course I'm up for helping to keep it running =
as long as I'm using it, but I can't promise anything beyond that.
