FYI, a new volunteer has come forward to maintain dap, Sebastien Diaz
(cc'd, I expect he'll be on the mailing list henceforth :).  I'm sure he
would welcome suggestions, bug reports, patches, whatever.

    BTW I tried to post this to dap-users, but it was rejected. If this gets
    through I will assume we are on the one list.

It is true, there is only one dap list and this is it.  It doesn't get
enough traffic to warrant splitting, seems to me :).
