Regarding BPCS & IBM versions Possibility also exists that in some upgrade, the BPCS splash screen was not properly updated. There are contractual and technical issues regarding ability of various versions of BPCS to run on later IBM versions. There are 3rd party work-arounds for some technical issues, which are probably not legal under the BPCS contract. Your company admin probably knows how this was done, and further challenges for moving forwards. Each version of BPCS, while supported, was patched regularly, as clients reported problems. BPCS conversion tools, for moving from version to version, did not enjoy the same level of support, had many problems. 3rd party conversion tools essential. I suggest separate thread topic launch, since planning for the future is a huge topic, somewhat different for coping with the present.
