<Joe> And then there's the argument for the "desktop replacement" laptop that you can use both at work and at home. With the appropriate docking station hardware, you're talking an investment perhaps 10 times what we're talking now <grin>. </Joe> This is my setup right now and it is hardly 10 times what a desktop system would cost. Dell Latitude P4 2.0GHz 1GB RAM 40GB HD (5400RPM) My employer picked it up for about $2100 10 months ago. Should be around $1600 - $1800 by now. For people that are willing to work on "work" at home, this is the perfect opportunity for an employer to cash-in on some "free" hours from their employees! You can convince them Buck, I know it is in ya! :-) Aaron Bartell _______________________________________________ This is the CODE/400 Discussion & Support (CODE400-L) mailing list To post a message email: CODE400-L-Zwy7GipZuJhWk0Htik3J/[email protected] To subscribe, unsubscribe, or change list options, visit: http://lists.midrange.com/mailman/listinfo/code400-l or email: CODE400-L-request-Zwy7GipZuJhWk0Htik3J/[email protected] Before posting, please take a moment to review the archives at http://archive.midrange.com/code400-l.
