Re: file / SAVE AS delays.......

I guess that your are using the SAVE AS in Eclipse/RSE, not the CODE
editor, right? This problem should have been sent to WDSCI mailing list.

The EVFC9143 message means that RSE communications might have waited for
more than 60 seconds for a response from the iSeries host. If you click the
'Detail' button, you should see an explanation for the message. Perhaps,
you can send me the '..\.log'  file as indicated in the 'Detail' message.

When I work on a program within WDCS and try to do FILE / SAVE AS, I wait
and wait and wait......... till finally I receive the below error message

Error # EVFC9143Q - The server is not responding, or the current
communications request is taking a long time.  Do you wish to cancel the
request?

After I respond YES to that,(I'm tired of watching the box at the bottom
with it's blue bars not doing anything so I cancel the request) then
immediately after cancel, I receive the SAVE AS box where I can now rename
my existing program.  Anyone else experiencing this problem?

One other note, it seems to be a once a day problem, once I can finally do
the first SAVE AS for the day, anymore SAVE AS works fine with no error
messages.
