Don't know how you plan to "provide our own production plan to MRP", but we used to not use MPS. Basically the parent items are not flagged as scheduled controlled and we just run MRP and demand is taken directly from either sales orders or forecasts.

Looking for a bit of guidance.

We are currently running both MPS and MRP, but are seeking to miss out MPS
and provide our own production plan to MRP.
Has anyone advice on how this can be done, in particular what files we
need to populate ?
