        Thanks for your input. The number of orders you handle is quite 
impressive.
        For the sectors, we service, I have never seen more than 100.

        Our difference is that we talk with other systems, and we feel 
that the
        number of lines per order may affect the smooth running of 
interfaces.
        That's why we are trying to find a sort of threshold, which we can 

        advise our users to respect.

We have had orderliness up to 800, but we have special processing for
orderliness in the 800-900 range.   There has been no problem with that 
many
orderlines.  You do have a hard limit of 999, as the order line field
specification is 3S 0.   Hope this helps.
