Michael,

"We would like to have the "commercial invoice" to have a different amount
on it than the financial invoice and its associated accounting treatment."

Are you talking about just generating a piece of paper with the Customs values showing, without impacting A/R? We were required by our customers to generate special invoices for our product to show as "window stickers". It wasn't that difficult to do - just an extract file with factors applied and more detail generated. It was driven from the A/R invoice generation process, but actually just created work files (I made them temporary, but they could have been kept just as easily) and printed documents. I can give you more detail if that is what you are talking about.

The key question is whether I understood you that you DON'T need the "special invoice" reflected in A/R.
