I just remembered: lengths lesset than a meter. square Meter M2 square decimeter d2 square centimeter c2 square milimeter m2 similarly measures higher that a square meter D2 square Deca-meter H2 square Hecto-meter K2 square Kilo-meter Hopefully this is useful to you. and the difference between Capital Letters and lower case does not make a mess in your company/users/engineers. In the MAPICS data, can you expres the square milimeters as a fraction of square meter? An example would be a metric sheet metal part that is cut and bent based on the metric material required on the drawing.
