I would recommend that you attend the System i conference BY INFOR XA. You will be able to meet with a few of us and discuss anything your heart desires, or your job requires. I always leave with more knowledge ( ideas ) then I came with. -----Original Message----- From: mapics-l-bounces-Zwy7GipZuJhWk0Htik3J/[email protected] [mailto:mapics-l-bounces-Zwy7GipZuJhWk0Htik3J/[email protected]] On Behalf Of Chuck Mick Sent: Thursday, July 08, 2010 9:27 AM To: MAPICS ERP System Discussion Subject: Re: [MAPICS-L] Product structure routings Quick feedback 1. Confirm your bill of material. 2. If you are stocking the components in st01...the system will pull from there automatically once configured. The system (if entering traditionally in terminal emulation will prompt to confirm the location....) 3. Change each of the components to be controlled floor stock (item balance / warehose record...i think the planning tab) 4. Perform am rm to test.... 5. OK, management has decided that backflushing is the way to go. I have until the end of the day to get four items with four componets setup for backflushing. Anyone got a 30 minute turtotral on how to set up backflushing? I found a series of manuals starting with MAPICSXA.pdf but nothing on backflushing.
