Richard, Look in the Cross Application Support User's Guide, Security Maintenance. You will need to set up Group security first before you can set up User's menu options. It is double to work to control what menu options are visible when a user logs in or you can simply control if they can open a list menu option under the groups. I suggest you create a new user, then experiment with turning on and off some of the menu options under groups. Log in as that user and see what you can and cannot do after 'reading' the Security Maintenance section in this User's Guide. Remember to do things in small steps or you could affect your users more than you originally intended. Once you understand how the security works, it really is not that complicated, but structured. All the user got on their screens was what they were allowed to use. That, and eliminating command line access, is VERY effective at handling green screen authority.
