Have you tried using net-link rather than power-link? It's quicker than Power-link for remote connections, although doesn't have 100% of the functionality.

Subject: [MAPICS-L] remote use of PowerLink between US and India

We have established a sales office in Bangalore, India. We are trying to let them use Power Link to get the information they need. At this point, we do not have a very fast connection and the link speed is not really usable because it takes hours for the Power link to load. I am not sure of our set up and will have to get with another member of the IT group who set it up. I believe that we have a server set up in India and are planning for them to work from it. Has anyone done anything like this and are there any suggestions as to how best to set this up. Our home office is in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Thanks for any help and insight that you can provide.
