Integrator user fields

Not exactly sure what you are asking here

1. Infor has provided "free to use "user fields on several Infor tables - attributes typically named "UU" something. They can have their description renamed in Integrator, or on a user definition (NOT recommended), and be used for your own purposes, and they will have the date stored in the table behind the integrator object - and can as such of course be accessed by any program that you might write.

2. If these aren't enough, or not available on the object you need them on - or are all already in use - you can create your own extension table and store where ever you want it (as long as the library is in the XA environment library list), and name it whatever you want (as long as you don't use on of the table names Infor is using (or will be in the future) - Make sure it has the same key attributes as the Infor table you want to extent - and simply create a secondary 1:1 extension to the Infor object in Integrator. (works only for Infor objects with transaction broker as maintenance method) The extension table attributes can then be included on any user definition maintained via PowerLink -and accessible by your own RPG programs also if needed.

3. Infor objects can be extended with additional attributes in Integrator - but these are "only" logical attributes based on other attributes - like substrings, calculations etc. not something added to a table - and therefore only known by PowerLink and "calculated" at runtime

If we add user fields for example to item master file are these then accessible via a user written RPG program and if so what file name/library are these stored in?
