Re: Impact of changing QPWDLVL from 0 to 2

Be aware that when changing to new password levels,  the signon screen 
will change. Even if you set your system values to limit the length of 
passwords, the input field will be 128 characters in length, and the 
fields below the password field will be a line lower on the screen. As 
others have said, if you have multiple System I boxes/partitions, all need 
to be at the same password level for communications. iSeries Navigator 
will also be sensitive to different password levels if you have multiple 
systems, and an IPL is required for the change on password levels to take 
effect.
