cvs commits 2001.06.05

First, let me welcome the new subscribers, presumably
something to do with our first freshmeat announcement and
first public talk (at the Scottish Linux Users Group, SLUG),
both on Thurs, May 31.  (An ARK paper went in to LISA today,
as well.)  We are counting on you new folks to knock some
sense into us...

My custom is to check in what I've got into the sourceforge
cvs repository, sorta kinda about once a week.  As ARK is
still at an early stage, we all just work on the HEAD.  Note
that the core engine (ARK/arkbase/) is pretty stable, so
it's not as dangerous as it sounds.

So: here are the "highlights" of what I just checked in.

ark-commits.)

* I added a bunch of entries to
  ARK/webpages/{references,related}.htma (papers and tools,
  respectively); the pages on SourceForge do not yet reflect
  these changes.

* The proto-package sidai/package/xfig-and-transfig.xml
  captures the *unbelievably* horrible things I had to do to
  get these tools to build/install sanely at glasli1 (xfig
  is a drawing tool).

* I'm noodling along on a few ClearCase-related scripts in
  sidai/clearcase-utils; these are *unfinished*.
