You mean to say that in addition to keeping abreast of Arusha-specific bugs and problems, I also have to worry about Python-PyXML interactions and version incompatibilities? (I trust the Mandrake folks to do this right. Not having to deal with these issues is one of the reasons I don't roll my own Linux distro and instead rely on perhaps the most user friendly Linux distribution on the market today.) I think The Project should shy away from using the latest and greatest--but not yet stabilized--Python and PyXML stuff, and base development on stuff that's been around for a while and has withstood the test of time. BTW, you guys should take all this in the spirit with which it's intended-- not to carp, but to help. That is, this is all constructive criticism, I hope.
