readers may be interested in the general info...)

I've just checked in a big pile of stuff, into CVS.

Essentially, I rebuilt/upgraded a bunch of packages for my
main "team" (verilab2 -- these bits will be visible
eventually...) following the release of GCC 3.1. All
consequent fiddling is reflected in the changes just checked
in.

[Reminder: the truly enthusiastic can subscribe to
ark-commits to see the CVS commit messages/logs.]

One horrible bug that I worked on was: the ARK stuff to run
as a particular user/group on a remote host [in
ARK/arkbase/ark/host.py:run()] doesn't work if tcsh is your
login shell. SIGH. I've tidied things up a bit, but still
haven't fixed it. I will seek the collective wisdom on this
specific question from ark-dev later on...

Overall, these changes reflect "routine use" of Arusha
stuff -- no dramatic changes are underway. If anyone has
*any* Arusha questions, feel free to send them along
(privately, if you prefer).

Will
