Of course yes, there is the Unix system calls, but also some standard C library functions (printf, ...) as well as some standard C++ library templates (list, vector, map, ...), theses should be available in Windows I guess. I have never tried to compile dar with a C++ compiler under Windows, I thus I have no real idea of what is necessary to modify to complete such an hypothetic compilation, there may stay other things to adapt over what have been listed above. > > I think it is possible to hide platform dependant parts > by introducing platform-independant layers.
