Hey! I've been using Dar for a few years now, and am very satisfied with its features and stability. Thanks, Denis, for keeping the project going! It's great to have something that supports both extended attributes and ACLs. Most of the backup/archiving software I reviewed a while ago didn't. The only thing I'm looking to change is Baras. A script for rotating the backups, also listed on Dar's web page. I was thinking of writing one myself that would also allow users to have root-run Dar ignore some of their homedir files (e.g ~/.backup-ignore). Or is there anything with similar features? Thanks!
