Hi Andrea,

Your backup path includes /run/media/ which I presume is a removable
device. Is this device connected by USB?

If that is the case, has something changed recently relating to other
USB devices which may be connected to the same internal USB hub.

It is often the case that connection of a slower device to the USB hub
results in faster connected devices operating at a lower speed.
