I see three options:
- manage to have the required and optional packages for dar enables the 
compilation according to what it finds on the system. See details here: 
http://dar.linux.free.fr/doc/from_sources.html
- If you cannot, make a cross compilation from a system where you have 
all the ability to install all those packages/softwares (see above).
- Else,use a dar_static version build somewhere else (not necessarily 
the same distro)
