Backup strategy

Hi

I'm planning to use hdup2 as backup tool for our servers. Now I wonder
how to best implement the backup-strategy I have in mind:

Most servers, I'd like to keep 2 weeks of information with the lowest
possible disk-usage. So I'm thinking of doing a weekly every two
weeks, and a daily in between. Will this work? Will the weekly backup
include everything, as there is no monthly?

If not, how would i best achieve what I want?
