----Security_Multipart(Thu_Aug__4_10_00_37_2005_090)-- Content-Type: Text/Plain; charset=us-ascii Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit Hi all. I am looking for a clever way to compare a (monthly) backup file to the current state of a hard disk. Aims: - identify all files that have disappeared on disk - identify all files whose content has changed on disk Probably this is more a tar question than a hdup question, but anyway: here are experts of both worlds :-) Ciao Sven ----Security_Multipart(Thu_Aug__4_10_00_37_2005_090)-- Content-Type: application/pgp-signature Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.0 (GNU/Linux) iD8DBQBC8csmxztbDwtWmxMRApEuAJ0VbLBeogueXGx2HZuPHYrdTwmHugCcDWf0 fIM7T5djw+x59EeQGzhyDEY= =8npD -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- ----Security_Multipart(Thu_Aug__4_10_00_37_2005_090)----
