Hi, Sarab is a great tool - I've been using it for quite a while with total success. However I use Debian Unstable (Sid) and recently dar was upgraded to 2.3.0 (a major release it appears). Sarab now fails with the following message: Creating backup with DAR...ERROR: Error when executing the backup with DAR. The attempted command was... /usr/bin/dar --batch /etc/sarab/sarab.dcf -c /mnt/backup/.sarab_temp_workdir/04-02-2006_0735 --noconf --ref /mnt/backup/week1/03-28-2006_0735 I checked the dar release page and it seems 2.3.0 was released at the end of February and seems to have just made it into sid. The --help for dar does not show a --batch option and I think the command line interface has changed significantly. I have manually built dar-2.2.7 and all seems well for now. -- David. ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email is sponsored by xPML, a groundbreaking scripting language that extends applications into web and mobile media.
