Response to Robin's post..... Here Here. I actually onboard for non-root agents from and install/update/support perspective. But I do feel we need to be well documented on sudo or other options for these agents. I have found it easier to avoid the security Nazis by being non-root. If I have a non-root account where I can share ssh keys from a RTEMS/HTEMS, I can make things work very well, thank you. Couple that with the sudo access for the agent, and I'm totally money. Now if Deployment engine could be augmented to fully support this, I'd be in clover.
