Re: TBSM 4.2.1 Permission

  Thanks for the reply, I am getting confuse on this can anyone please
clarify

1. I can see that in my TIP under "Repositories in the realm" there are 2
entries as follows
             DC=SEN,DC=SENcmy, DC=com
             o=defsaultWIMFileBsedRealm

2. The user that I had problem editing the AEL is John and it is a user in
the DC=SEN ... LDAP, hence because of integration TIP is able to
authenticate "John" and let him login to TIP portal. But then which
authentication mechanism will determine his role?

3. If I can located "john" in the administrator role" portal does it means
that I had manually created "John" on the TIP and by assigning all the
default roles in TIP he will have the rights to act as an administrator ? (
My understanding is there is already and integration between omnibus and
tip hence by giving "John" all the netcool roles within tip it will
automatically propergate to omnibus and grant him access)
