Creating workspaces is not a common activity. It is detailed, somewhat
careful work... but it has a lot of value.

Here is a technote I wrote with 30+ pages of screen shots showing how to
transform a workspace into using MSLs. You might be able to use that as a
roadmap..

ITM Portal Client Summary Workspace Views with many Agents

I am *sure* there are lots of things I am ignorant of here. I wrote this
mainly to pressure the R&D Agent team to do that work for the summary
Unix/Linux/Windows agent workspaces.

Regards,

If they are present in the most recent ODI file [dockux] then you can
create your own workspace and associated queries if interested.

I guess the theory is that you would want an alert when those
sub-components are not running, but since it is [I hope] rare, a workspace
which is almost always showing normal operation would not be that useful.
For myself, I would probably create a summarize query against *ALL_UNIX
which showed all the cases where things were not normal.

Hello,

We'll we'll. What do you know. Make sense to upgrade APAR/FP2 info then to
clarify this?

Hello,

in 6.2.3 FP2 there aren't queries or workspaces for this new attribute
group.

John,

I applied the agent support for the TEPS and TEMS through the FP
installation, seeded support on TEMS and reconfigured the TEPS.

I tried to manually seed support to TEMS, and reconfigured TEPS once
again, and I'm still not able to find this in the TEP in a workspace or
query. I am also only able to see it in the situation creation dialog.

Huh? Since when do we have to worry about this when installing fixpacks?
Besides I see these new attributes in the situation creation dialog, and
they seem to work, tried a dummy fire always sit.

But the data is not visible in TEPS workspaces. I would like to browse the
data under an attribute group in TEPS.

Some way or other, the application files [cat/atr/odi] need to be applied
to the TEMS and TEPS. On recent levels of TEMS, if you have SDA=YES
enabled that will happen automatically. Otherwise you have to go through a
manual process...

I'm also not seeing an attribute group named "Data Collection Status".
