Re: ITM 6.2.3 FP 02, new feature?

Why left out?

ITM 623 is on a fix-only track. The general issue - failure of all Unix 
monitoring when a component failed, was viewed as a defect.  Having fixed 
it, it was felt that alerting on the condition made sense. However 
displaying of results in a new workspace view - and perhaps something in a 
summary workspace - was likely considered too far into enhancement.

I was able to create a custom TEMS query using the Data Collection Status 
attribute group, which seems to work fine.  

Although I'm curious why this was left out.

John, 

I applied the agent support for the TEPS and TEMS through the FP 
installation, seeded support on TEMS and reconfigured the TEPS. 

I tried to manually seed support to TEMS, and reconfigured TEPS once 
again, and I'm still not able to find this in the TEP in a workspace or 
query.  I am also only able to see it in the situation creation dialog.

Some way or other, the application files [cat/atr/odi] need to be applied 
to the TEMS and TEPS. On recent levels of TEMS, if you have SDA=YES 
enabled that will happen automatically. Otherwise you have to go through a 
manual process...

Just upgraded on of my Solaris 10 boxes tp 6.2.3 FP02 agent the TEPS/TEMS
