Martin- just a call on my part here, but you will probably want to open a
PMR with the ITM team and have it immediately transferred to the BSS (Basic
System Services) L3 queue, where someone with the needed deep KDE expertise
(i.e. Nic Catrambone) can advise  authoritatively.  It would be a trifle
for him to give an answer and alternate workaround if available.
