You could grab this example Sitworld: ITM Agent Health Survey https://www.ibm.com/developerworks/community/blogs/jalvord/entry/sitworld_itm_zombie_survey?lang=en and then change the payload at the center from the getting the oplog to getting the System attribute referencing CPU time. Run it and then spit out the average. Make that the data provider in an Agent builder and then you can feed it into an attribute group for situations and historical data. The payload would have to different depending on Windows/Unix/Linux. Do that every 15 minutes or hour or something. We are still using ITM version 6.0 , and the ITM OS agent versions deployed are 6.2.0, 6.2.1 and 6.2.2 . We do not have Historical data collection active for various reasons (long story). The ITM management system will still go out and gather statistical data from the agents every 15 minutes. We have Situations built that will generate events if CPU Thresholds are violated. My question is : - Is there a way , through the command line perhaps, to get a snapshot of the current CPU utilization for all servers that are running ITM OS agents? Thanks.
